The Digital Consulting Blog Publication date: 09/20/2020 What is PEC? PEC, acronym for Certified Electronic Mail , is the system that allows you to send e-mails with a legal value equivalent to a registered letter with return receipt. The PEC service, unlike traditional e-mail, has additional features that provide users with the certainty of sending and delivering (or failing to deliver) e-mails to the recipient, with certification of the exact time of dispatch. The legal value of the PEC message is such only if both the sender mobile numbers list and the recipient use PEC certified email addresses and the messages are sent via the servers of a certified manager. The Certified Mail system, thanks to the security protocols used, is able to guarantee the certainty of the content by not making changes to the message possible, both in terms of the contents and any attachments.
