 Actions "Speech"'Thoughts'---------------------------------"I'm going hunting." She meowed to Goldenwatcher. The two cats mewed a farewell before Hawkfrost turned and headed out. At first she headed towards a good hunting spot. When she new she was safely out of the eyes of her clan-mates, she tuned her path to the two-leg bridge. Hawkwhisker was on her way to the Crossbridge for one reason: Snaketooth. She was in a forbidden relationship with the handsome IgnisClan warrior, sneaking off every now and then to see him. So far, the two cats had been able to keep it a secret, and both were always on the watch. The only way their love for each other would end up being public, was if Hawkwhisker had kits. But neither Hawkwhisker nor Snaketooth wanted any at the moment. Once she reached the Cross bridge, she went straight to the middle. She hid in the shadows on the side of the bridge. 'I can't wait to see you again...' She thought. |

After a little work had been done, he directed his path toward the Crossbridge. He hoped that he would get there first, to prevent Hawkwhisker from waiting to long. He loved the gorgeous, black and white she-cat, but them being from different Clans put them both at risk.
When he got there, he opened his mouth to taste the air. She's already here. hopefully she hasn't been for too long.
He saw the VentusClan she-cat hiding on the shadowed side of the bridge. He went up to her, purring all the way.
Why, hello there, beautiful. He said, swiping his tongue across her ear. |

ooc:// it didn't say anything about it in the rules, but is it ok for me to have a character in more than one thread? :S shadowstrike is also in "kiss me goodbye" with tabbycat, but it also hasn't been replied to yet..
[/center] shadowstrike [/size][/color] Shadowstrike strolled through the pine needle laden floor with no interest in searching for anything particular. He yawned profoundly as he ceased his gait for a moment to fully stretch his limbs. As he did so, a familiar and friendly scent waved over his nostrils: Snaketooth. Shadowstrike smiled, but the grin quickly drop due to striking thoughts of curiosity. Why was Snaketooth wandering all the way out here? It wasn't common for any cat to come around here with the exception of the monthly peaceful gathering of the two clans. Shadowstrike was only here because he decided to stroll along the borderline since there was literally nothing better to do. And why waste a decent day like this lounging around the camp, sitting like an open duck for others to give you orders?
Shadowstrike started going along with Snaketooth's scent, completely willing to expose himself without a fight. But then a thought shimmered in his mind and Shadowstrike changed course. He knew that his scent was already exposed and out in the open, so Shadowstrike continued along his original track a little bit of a ways so it looked--or smelled --like Shadowstrike was just passing through. When the black tom decided he preceded far enough, he slinked back into the shadows where is pelt merged perfectly in with the shade. Shadowstrike aimed his way back toward Snaketooth's location, carefully striding where is scent would not be easily picked up. Finally, Shadowstrike gained visual of Snaketooth while flawlessly concealed within the shadows of a bush. He was not prepared for what he saw.
Snaketooth was with a female Shadowstrike did not recognize. And with a whiff in the air, Shadowstrike immediately learned that the female belonged to VentusClan. Immediate memories of his sister, Nightpaw, flashed before his mind. She snuck away occasionally to meet up with a loner she fell in love with. After awhile of secret meetings with the outsider, Nightpaw escaped from IgnisClan with the help of her two brothers. Shadowstrike shook his head to liberate himself of the memories and he narrowed his eyes as he continued to observe with utter silence. What are you up to? [/blockquote][/blockquote] |

Actions "Speech"'Thoughts'---------------------------------Hello there, beautiful.The deep voice along with a lick on her calmed Hawkwhisker. Her love had finally arrived. She looked up at him with a soothing gaze. "Hey there handsome." She said with a playful tone. She sat up and returned his lick with one of her own. "I thought you'd never get here." She purred. "So, how has everything been going in your Clan? Any new Warriors or apprentices?" Hawkwhisker knew she wasn't supposed to share this kind of information with another Clan, neither was Snaketooth, but neither of them cared. She sometimes thought she loved the IgnisClan warrior more than her own Clan. She knew this too would put her in a hard spot if a war broke out between the Clans, she wouldn't be able to hurt Snaketooth, let alone his family. She shoved the thoughts into the bac of her mind, and waited for an answer from her love. -Fail- |

Nothing important or fun's been happening over there. And beside for the lack of prey around, it's the same old Ignisclan. He purred. Sharing Clan worries and secrets didn't frighten him. If he got exiled, he know for a fact Hawkwhisker, his love, would come with him.
What about VentusClan? How's everything over been? He said.
He sometimes thought about what life would be like as an exile with Hawkwhisker. There would be some good things and some bad things. Some of the good things being not having to catch prey for any cat but himself, Hawkwhisker, and possibly kits. They'd have the freedom of actually having kits, without being punished for it, and not having to follow the code of AstraClan.
But all good things have a bad side. Not having to catch prey but for himself and his family? Two things wrong there. Where would he find good prey that wasn't on Clan territory, and he'd have to leave Hawkwhisker, and or his kits. having kits would also be a burden without a Clan. Leaving them and his mate to go hunting would tug at his heartstrings. Not following the code? Rules, of course, mean order. And without order the world would be filled with chaos.
He forced the thoughts into the depths of his mind. He then waited for Hawkwhisker's answer. |

Oh no! Shadowstrike cried in his head. Please let this not be as I think it is! However, a couple licks of affection confirmed the suspicion: Snaketooth was having an affair with a female who belonged to VentusClan, the current rivaling clan. Why Snaketooth? ...Why?
Shadowstrike has been close with Snaketooth ever since they were older apprentices. They weren't the bestest and closest friends, but they were still fairly tight and knew each other pretty well. When it came to the ladies, Shadowstrike and Snaketooth were quite opposite. Shadowstrike was a flirt, always going for the short time flings, never getting into anything serious. Snaketooth, however, was usually gentlemanly and hates making females upset. So for sure Shadowstrike knew that Snaketooth was not using or manipulating the VentusClan female's heart for his own personal gain. The affection performing in front of Shadowstrike was not a show and phony, but the real deal.
What should I do?! Shadowstrike thought. This kind of affair could put Snaketooth and his lady friend in some serious trouble. Trouble enough to possibly exile them from the clan and demoted to the rank of lowly outsiders worth killing if they ever trespassed. And that was the last thing Shadowstrike ever wanted for his friend. Shadowstrike recalled the time about his sister once more. Young little Shadowpaw and his brother Spiderpaw helped their sister, Nightpaw, flee from IgnisClan to run away with a loner. Shadowstrike never heard from her since then and he hasn't told a single soul; not even Snaketooth. This was a serious déjà vu.
Shadowstrike kept to the bushes, continuing to observe the on goings. Shadowstrike debated furiously in his head on how should he approach Snaketooth on this, let alone even approach him at all. Well, with Ol' Smokey the leader being as ancient as time, Snaketooth might not have to worry about punishment from him... unless Oakclaw finds out... It's only a matter of time till the leadership changes and they finally notice something going on with Snaketooth. Oh no. No, no, no ,no. This is soooo not good!

Hawkwhisker remembered the day Goldenwatcher became a warrior. Wildstipes had truly gone insane, threatening to destroy the entire Clan. Hawkfrost hadn't been a warrior for too long before. She knew that she'd never have the feeling Goldenwatcher had that day, or any other day of her life. The fear she constantly felt of the crazed tom sneaking his way onto camp, to steal or even kill her. Hawkwhisker was close to the golden cat, but would still never tell her about Snaketooth. Although they had a good relationship, Goldenwatcher strictly followed the code, and would tell the leader without hesitation. So, for now, it would stay a secret. "So, how have you in general been?" She asked, trying to keep a happy look on her face. I have an awesome idea. Maybe, somewhere very close to Shadowstrike, Goldenwatcher is watching? She could have followed Hawkwhisker just like Shadowstrike did Snaketooth. Shadowstrike and Goldenwatcher would find out of each others' presence, but instead of freaking out into a fight, they talk about their shared concerns for their Clan mates? Tell me what ya'll think. ^^ |

Snaketooth stared at her. He could the the memory of her former Clan mate's actions pour into her eyes in the form of fear. He gave her a reassuring lick to her ear, and listened on.
"So, how have you in general been?"
He saw her force a smile. He did the same, hoping she didn't notice his worries. I guess you could say good. I'm hungry, and this is the first time we have seen each other since the last gathering. He purred.
He was about to ask her the same question when the sudden feeling of being watched flooded over him. He took a glance around, but didn't see to smell anything out of the ordinary.
He looked back at Hawkwhisker wondering if she had noticed him looking around. What about you? How have you been?

As Snaketooth swiftly stole a glance around the vicinity, Shadowstrike instinctively froze into place. His bright golden orbs stayed resolutely on his friend till he finally resumed his conversation with the female. Shadowstrike let an inaudible sigh. What should poor Shadowstrike do? Reveal himself now? Talk to Snaketooth later or even at all? Pretend like he knows nothing? Questions surged relentlessly in the black male's mind as most of them came out with dark devastating answers and consequences.
