Tigermoth is a gorgeous merge of russet and onyx sketched across her sleek fur. Her structure is built like most VentusClan warriors: lean and swift. Her build enables her to perform well when it comes to agility and speed, but not the best for above standard performance on physical strength. Tigermoth has fiery amber orbs that light up her face and dance with emotion.
{ P } E R S O N A L I T Y:
Listening. Tigermoth will listen to a comrade in need and offer a shoulder to cry on. She'll attempt her best at advice to help, but she normally leaves others to take care of that. Tigermoth is social and involves herself in the clan, but that doesn't necessarily mean she truly opens up. To anyone who becomes exceptionally close to Tigermoth, by guarantee she'll have their back no matter the situation. Whether it be a rumor against them or a physical fight, Tigermoth will remain loyal to their side unless they betray her. Then, she'll automatically become a foe.
Tracker. Out of the five main senses, Tigermoth is most prominent with her sense of smell. She enjoys challenging herself on attempting to go through old scents to see if she can follow them. Tigermoth is useful when it comes to things like tracking or distinguishing scents. Tigermoth might not be able to remember every herb like a medicine cat, but she rarely ever forgets a scent she come across.
Clever. Clever doesn't exactly mean knowledgeable or book smarts all the time. In this case, it means more of an ability to come up with things on the spot; winging it successfully. Tigermoth is a swift thinker, a good strategist, and has a quite a memory. Tigermoth has a pretty good ability with persuasion and mind tricks. She isn't a master of manipulation, but she isn't half bad.
Determined. Tigermoth is ambitious. She strives to perfect her battling and hunting skills constantly. She'll eagerly learn anything new that might be helpful and exciting. Tigermoth also loves adventure of almost any sort. Whether it be travelling through a new land or just a simple hunting patrol on a sunny day. Tigermoth knows she should try to become more mellow and take it easy a bit more often, but Tigermoth isn't the type to sit and wait around either. Her patience might not be the best around, yet she's levelheaded enough to know when to go headfirst or not.
Powerful. Through harsh training of her mentor and high expectations of her parents, Tigermoth has become a prominent fighter and a well trained huntress. She enjoys utilizing her gifts to aid her clan by defending and feeding her comrades. Tigermoth would never even dream of shunning the life of a warrior in exchange for a life of a soft and lazy house pet. She was born and bred to survive and thrive in the tough warrior environment.
Healing. Tigermoth has a very basic knowledge of the common medical herbs known to the two clans. Though she is nowhere near as knowledgeable and useful as a medicine cat, but Tigermoth can apply basic first-aid to the worst of wounds; handy if the medic is overflowed with many patients at once. Ceasing blood flow and preventing infection is really the best she can do. She wouldn't know what would be best to help a headache or which herb calms anxiety. And Tigermoth doesn't exactly clean and patch up a boo-boo as graceful and skilled as a trained medicine cat obviously would. But nonetheless, it's still practical compared to nothing.
Independence. Tigermoth values being independent and self-reliant. She's has a "rather-do-it-myself" style when it comes to completing tasks. Of course, if she is paired with others, she'll do her even share of the work and assist if needed. Any of her comrades can rely on her to see missions to the end and react to the task at hand.
Hater. When it comes to outsiders, especially kitty-pets, Tigermoth isn't the type to openly accept them. She very strongly disapproves upon allowing outsiders joining the clan system, especially her own birth clan. Inherited from her entire family, Tigermoth holds pureblood with the utmost importance. Though she's friendly with her comrades, she'll shun the outsiders and become rather hostile, until the outsider has proven their worthiness and earned her respect or left the forest.
Stubborn. This characteristic is debatable whether it's a positive or a negative attribute. Though, the lifestyle she was raised in, one would expect it be snapped out of her. However, this began to develop after Tigermoth's apprentice years when she was a newly warrior. Now, she's definitely not the most stubborn cat around, she knows to follow orders when she receives them. But like every character, Tigermoth will have her stubborn streaks where it'll seem impossible to make her budge.
{ H } I S T O R Y:
Tigermoth doesn't exactly have a heart-wrenching or unusual background story some characters have. But, that also doesn't mean she had her hardships like every other living thing.
It was a warm day during the late spring when she was born as a lone kit, the daughter of Lilypool and Swiftstorm. Her parents were loving, but very prestigious and strict. The older little Tigerkit got, the more pressure and higher expectations she received from her parents. Instead of roughhousing like the common kit, Lilypool disapproved of that kind of behavior, even for a youngling and had Tigerkit do more responsible things, like: assisting the medicine cat organize herbs, babysitting the younger kits, etc. Lilypool, however, did allow Tigerkit to occasionally visit the elders for story time while she went away for her daily afternoon sunbathing. If Tigerkit ever was a nuisance to anyone or ever meddled in the way, she was sure to earn herself a lecture from her parents. Both of her parents were respected, even their entire families maintained a title of respect. And they weren't planning to let that end through Tigerkit.
Tigerkit was--and still is--in constant competitive comparison with her cousins. Though she has several extended family members, her two main rivals were Ashkit and Poppykit. They were the son and daughter of Cinderfoot and Thunderwing. Thunderwing was the elder brother of Swiftstorm and the two themselves were raised in competition, so they passed it on to the next generation: their very own children.
In contrast to kit-hood, the competition really heated and spiced up in the duration of Tigerpaw's apprenticeship. Lilypool and Swiftstorm alike wanted Tigerpaw to become a prodigy, top class of her generation. Thunderwing and Cinderfoot shared the same ambition for their own offspring. Swiftstorm requested that a family friend, Adderfang, a senior warrior, become Tigerpaw's mentor. The request was approved and Tigerpaw dreaded it.
Adderfang was a harsh-tongued, critical, short tempered, stern and held a near zero tolerance for misconduct or mistake. He drove Tigerpaw through rain, snow, and shine. Sleeping in or going to bed early was a luxury she experienced oh-so very rarely during her apprenticeship. Adderfang also "volunteered" Tigerpaw to participate in several patrols and extra assessments. His training was vigorous, intense, and severe. And if Tigerpaw ever gave lip, complained, was late or any of the sort, she was required to sprint around the territory for long periods of time. And to no surprise, Tigerpaw consistently found herself aching and sore. During the little free time she had, Tigerpaw now and then stole secret visits to the medicine cat's den to help patch herself up. Since she spent much time there as a kit, she knew where what was and which herb was best for what injury. Tigerpaw secretly thanked her mother for making her help the medicine cat instead of play-fighting. Unfortunately, Adderfang caught her one day dillydallying in the medic's den and restricted her from ever going to the medicine cat unless her paws were falling off.
Poppypaw was prominent with the hunter's gift and Ashpaw excelled with the fighter's gift. And from Lilypool, Swiftstorm, and Adderfang's high standard, she was obligated to defeat both of them at their best games. Tigerpaw was always against them in mild fight matches and who could catch the most prey or the best prey. With two against one, Tigerpaw held pretty well on her own, but still lost occasionally to them. Overall, it was a fairly even match. But of course, that wasn't good enough to Swiftstorm or Thunderwing. They bickered like the old days and pushed their children even further.
At the sixth and final moon of her training, Tigerpaw and her cousins received fresh new names: Tigermoth, Poppyleaf, and Ashfur. They held the traditional silent vigil throughout the night and was dead exhausted by daybreak. The reality of finally being promoted to the warrior's den thrilled Tigermoth and she wasted no time transferring dens. To her surprise, Adderfang now treated her as an equal and was friendly with her, not completely as critical as he was to her just days ago. It wasn't till after the rigorous training that Tigermoth fully realized that that was what made her the powerful warrior she is to this day. Likewise with her parents, she secretly thanked Adderfang for the miserable, yet rewarding moons of apprenticeship.
Seasons have come and go, Tigermoth has her ups and downs. She still trains with her old mentor, learning tricks and trying to excel him and actually defeat him in a skirmish; she still has yet to conquer that. Lilypool and Swiftstorm are still alive and well and are planning on having another litter when the warmer weather approaches. Cinderfoot and Thunderwing had another litter who are currently in their apprentice season: Leappaw, Sparrowpaw, and Heatherpaw. Ashfur is already training his very first apprentice: Harepaw. Poppyleaf feel in love with a male named Nightwhisker and she recently had a litter of two: Brightkit and Eaglekit. Tigermoth and Poppyleaf have gotten much closer and have become sisters instead of rivaling cousins their parents started them out as.Relation to Tigermoth
