Q: What does Ignis and Ventus mean?
A: Ignis and Ventus are Latin words that translate back to Fire and Wind in English.
Q: Why did you use Latin?
A: I used Latin much like the first creators of Binomial Nomenclature used it. Back in their time, anyone who was anyone knew Latin even though it was a dead language. This meant that it was no longer spoken. I chose Latin simply because English Clans no longer sparkle and shine in my eyes. I've done so many that there was no more originality when it came to names.
Q: Why 'IgnisClan' and VentusClan'?
A: I chose Ignis et Ventus because of the relationship between Wind and Fire. At times, Wind spreads Fire by pushing more oxygen into the flames and causing it to burn more and more. At other times, Wind easily snuffs Fire by not allowing the oxygen to reach the burning gases. (Yes, Fire is a gas.) IgnisClan and VentusClan push each others buttons in the same way.[/size][/center][/blockquote]
